"Duck Dynasty' wins Academy Award for Best Picture, Russian interference suspected

LOS ANGELES -- It was mayhem on Sunday night as "Duck Dynasty" won the Oscar for "Best Picture," pulling off an upset that few Academy members were predicting given that the A&E television show is neither a motion picture nor "good."

How "Duck Dynasty" beat Moonlight, an "objectively amazing moving," remains "profoundly unclear," according to New York Times movie critic A.O. Scott.

Russian involvement is suspected.

Vanity Fair's Oscars podcast will hold an emergency broadcast later tonight, according to its Twitter feed.
