HillaryBeatTrump.org petitions the White House for official press credentials, hopes to combat fake news

THE INTERNET -- On Monday, HillaryBeatTrump.org started a petition demanding that the White House issue us official press credentials to help us combat fake news and produce better journalism about President Hillary Rodham Clinton's first term.

Sign it here.

We started this petition because America's fake news problem is fast becoming a crisis: On major social media sites like Reddit, Facebook and Twitter, thousands of Trump voters are living out their lives under the misimpression that Donald Trump is president!

We hope that by getting White House press accreditation, we'll be able to counteract this tsunami of fake news by providing even better coverage of the White House under President Hillary Rodham Clinton, who was elected president in November after winning the election by 3 million votes.

If the petition collects 100,000 signatures within 30 days, the White House is legally obliged to respond.

The petition reads:

The White House should give the excellent news organization HillaryBeatTrump.org permanent White House press credentials so that HillaryBeatTrump.org's brilliant journalists can:

1) Attend daily White House press briefings
2) Combat fake news
3) Bring people the biggest new stories about America's real president, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who won the election by 3 million votes
