Woman successfully finishes sentence in U.S. Senate

WASHINGTON D.C. -- On Wednesday, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren successfully finished a sentence in the U.S. Senate without once being interrupted by her male colleagues.

"It was extraordinary, as though she has the right to speak! I've never seen anything like it," said Senate historian Gideon Blight. 

President Hillary Clinton sent Warren a note of congratulations, telling her former colleague she looked forward to the day when a woman might deliver a "whole uninterrupted paragraph" in the Senate chamber.

Clinton has nominated Warren to be Treasury Secretary.
