Demoralized by White House, KKK postpones race war till 2050

BIRMINGHAM – In an empty press conference streamed live on Facebook, leaders of the KKK reported feeling “stifled” and “unfairly treated” by the Clinton administration. Seeking a more supportive environment for the propagation of white supremacy, the group plans to halt all prejudice until 2050 at the earliest.

Steve Bannon, newly unemployed after running Donald Trump’s failed presidential campaign, was last to take the stage. He spoke briefly about his disappointment in the election results before identifying the “straw that broke the Klansman’s back” as Leslie Jones’s appointment as Press Secretary. Though discouraged, Bannon feels confident that history will validate their stance under what is sure to be the most progressive administration in modern U.S. history.

While President Clinton did not dignify the event with a response, Donald Trump immediately tweeted out just one word: “Brave.”

The temporary dissolution of the KKK corresponds with the continued drop in hate crimes across the United States, now expected to decline even further.
