Sessions says he merely had sexual and financial relations with Russian Ambassador: “We barely talked”

WASHINGTON D.C. --  On Friday, former U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions denied accusations that he'd perjured himself last week when he testified to Congress that he'd had "no communication at all" with Russian officials during the 2016 election, a claim that the Washington Post has thoroughly debunked.

"I merely had sexual and financial relations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak," said Sessions in a defiant interview with CNN. "Throughout, we barely spoke."

Sessions insisted there was nothing untoward about his relationship with the Russian Ambassador. "On two occasions, I received money and sexual favors from Kislyak during the 2016 campaign in my capacity as a high-ranking member of the Armed Services Committee," he said. "That's utterly routine."

"In the lead up to my ejaculations, I uttered very few words to Kislyak. I dimly remember him saying something about Russia's ongoing attempt to steal the election from President Hillary Rodham Clinton and the Republican Party changing its Ukraine policy. As you can see, the whole was just a formality," he said.
