Trump complains BlackBerry keys are "too large"
MOSCOW -- Failed candidate Donald J. Trump took to Twitter on Friday to point out a perceived design flaw in the BlackBerry phone, complaining its keys are "TOO LARGE."
The Tweet read: "Failing Blackberry's kees r TOO LARGE. Sad. I am the best at fingers."
Trump, who Spy magazine once described as a "small-fingered vulgarian," has come under criticism for Tweeting messages that are riddled with spelling and grammar errors.
In the last sixth months, Trump's Twitter feed has grown so incomprehensible that New York Times Pulitzer-winning book critic Michiko Kakutani called reading it "the literary equivalent of reading 10,000 mean fortune cookies after they've been put through a shredder and ineptly reconstituted by a racist drunk."
Of course, Kakutani said, "Trump's Tweets might sound better in the original Russian."
But industry analysts said the problem might be technological.
"If his fingers are so tiny they can't physically press in the keys on the BlackBerry keyboard, that would explain a lot," said company spokesman Tom Potter.
BlackBerry said it was working on a new keyboard design for "small-fingered adults like Trump."
